Oakleigh Plate tip (Caulfield Race 6) – #6 Bel Sprinter. Was very impressive last start coming from back in the field and storming home. He’s only tasted defeat once, is unbeaten at Caulfield and looks to be Group 1 standard.
Best Bet – Rosehill Race 1 #9 Dear Demi. The Clarry Connor’s trained filly looks well suited to the step up to 1200 after really winding up in the latter part of her races over shorter distances. She looks to be a standout bet.
Best Value – Caulfield Race 7 #2 Jimando. Fought on well last start after a good pace was set and looks to be good value at double figure odds. He had previously accounted for The Travelling Man easily back in October.
Lay – Caulfield Race 2 #1 Hot Spin. Looks to be unders against this field. He’s never won beyond 1000 metres, gives weight to the rest of the field and faces talented gallopers like It Is Written and Instalment.
