Racefest – May 12
The 2012 Channel Seven Brisbane Racing Carnival will ignite as Racefest returns to Doomben Racecourse for one of the biggest party racedays of the year! On the track you can expect to see some thrilling racing, including the sprinting stars of Australasia gearing up for winter’s biggest races; but off the track Racefest has it all! The Bundaberg Distilling Co. stage will be pumping with some of Australia’s top entertainers and DJ’s as the sun sets on a spectacular day of racing.
Doomben Cup Day – May 19
With the sport of racing spanning generations, the Brisbane Racing Carnival’s Doomben Cup Family Day is the perfect option for the quintessential racing experience. Offering FREE admission for the kids, Doomben Cup Day is tailored for families with Family Fashions on the Field, free carnival rides and a family-fun atmosphere.
Returning to Doomben Cup Day will be the Family Zone Marquee; one of the best valued functions for kids and their parents.
Doomben 10,000 Day – May 26
Each and every year the Carlton Mid Doomben 10,000 Day proves to be one of Queensland’s favourite racedays. Combining Australia’s top rated race – the Doomben 10,000, with stunning Fashions on the Field, off-track entertainment and some of the best raceday hospitality experiences, you’ll see why racegoers keep coming back to the classic Doomben 10,000 Raceday.
Some of the exciting new additions to 10,000 Day will include the fine dining Top Shelf Marquee, and the Revelry Marquee (on sale April 2nd) – especially for the party-goers.
Oaks Day – June 2
The traditional Queensland Oaks Day, always puts on a show – particularly being Ladies’ Day of the 2012 Carnival! Set over the beautiful grounds of Eagle Farm Racecourse, Oaks Day is all about fun, fashion and style. Whether it’s under the shade of the grand old fig trees or alongside the David Jones Fashions on the Field or even lapping up the racing action from one of the luxuriously appointed marquees, Treasury Casino QLD Oaks Day has it all!
Oaks Day will welcome an elegant High Tea function in the charming Vice Regal Room – perfectly suited for the traditional ladies’ Day of the Carnival.
Stradbroke Day – June 9
The Grand Finale of the 2012 Channel Seven Brisbane Racing Carnival, AAMI Stradbroke Day is home to some of Australia’s top races including the AAMI Stradbroke Handicap. Complimenting the first class racing, is premium off-track hospitality and entertainment including the David Jones Fashions on the Field. Hosting the creme de la creme of corporate functions, racedays in Queensland simply don’t get any better than the time honoured Stradbroke.
This year’s Stradbroke Day will see the inaugural Homestraight Lawn at Eagle Farm Racecourse – a great valued, self-cater option. Or for elegant dining – the Top Shelf Marquee includes premium beverages, plated three course lunch all just steps away from the track fence.
